As we all have been in the home from past couple of months and not feeling good but now the lockdown is going towards the unlock. this is however good as well bad news because we are exposing more of ourselves the virus. So the most important things here we can do is always wear mask and use sanitizer . but these are fine as external what about internal protection for that immunity boosting is a must.it will help us settle to the new normal.
For our body’s immune system food is the bet option to gain immunity. And no single food helps to maintain it but you should have a balanced diet .The thing is that Actually, all the research conducted tells us that immunity system of the body is built up over a long span of time, so daily intake of variety of nourishing, wholesome foods along with a healthy lifestyle is necessary to connect the dots.
Some tips of having a healthy body and good immune system are:-
Be stress free : As we all know Stress is one of the main causes due to which immune system of the body works less efficiently, as the ability of our immune system to fight antigens decreases. If our body will have stress then our body will produce excess of Corticosteroid, the stress hormone, which is known to suppress the working of the immune system. So it is very important to mange our stress and eat healthy food to fight many diseases.
Also, when we are stressed, we may eat soul food, high sugar and fat foods or indulge in unhealthy binge-eating which all in all lead to bad health.
Know your nutrients: Having a good and nutritious diet including immune boosting ingredients like various spices and vitamins etc. will help us to safeguard ourselves against the diseases, and having them for quite a long period in our diet can help build a strong immune system for the body. Also Not getting exposed to sunlight in this lockdown will cause deficiency in Vitamin – D and consuming Vitamin-D rich foods like eggs, fish, mushrooms and cheddar cheese will prove helpful. Additionally including anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric, tomatoes, ginger, olive oil, walnuts and blueberries can prevent ailments. Also keeping yourself hydrated is essential.
