QUALITY TIME WITH FAMILY

Nothing is more important than family.

We never imagined that we could be stuck at our homes for so long. However,  this pandemic has given us the opportunity to rekindle our relationship we thought we have lost with our family. With our busy schedules, we hardly spent quality time with our family members. This lockdown has given us the chance to re-live those memories when family time was the most important part of the day. 

Honestly, I have spent so much time with them that I know exactly how they would react in different situations. Maybe I know them now like never before.  Sitting together at the dining table, having different conversations was a fun part of the day.  Lockdown gave us an ample time to do whatever we wished  to. Even there was a re entrance of board games that consumed most our day. Well I guess I spent most of my lockdown in kitchen trying out baking something for my family. 

Earlier, I was busy in my college and used to come home around 6. So I could hardly sit with my grandparents and talk to them.  One of the most wonderful time was spent with my grandpa during this lockdown. It was so nice discuss on various topics. I don't think we left any topic  untouched. Although there is a huge generation gap but he was like a friend to me.  I am glad I  am born in a family where I am surrounded by open- minded people.  I feel blessed that our family could find happiness even in such hard times.  

No doubt lockdown created many difficulties for everyone but somewhere it gave us a golden time to realize  the true importance of family. We all know that lockdown gave us pause button in our life where we were given a rest from our fast pacing life. We should feel really blessed that we have a family who is looking for us. In our regular life, we hardly give time to them. But it is important to remember that even in our hardest times, our family will never leave us. They are the  most loyal people and one should really respect them.
